About Chemical Peels

There are many types of resurfacing peels. Your practitioner will decide what is best for you. Anyone receiving a peel will have to sign a release and may require a specific home care protocol post-treatment, at an additional charge.

Chemical Peel Add On To Facial

Your practitioner will determine the best peel suited to your skin type, conditions, and reactivity/ethnicity. Pro-rated accordingly. Signed release required. Please call to add this to your facial so that adequate time can be added to your appointment

INTENSIVE PEEL (similar to VI PEEL)

A very intense chemical resurfacing peel. NOT a first-time peel. It is very similar in formulation to the Obaji VI peel. Your practitioner will decide if you are a candidate for this service. As with all chemical peel treatments, you will have to follow a very strict homecare regimen.

Microcurrent Eye Treatment

This treatment includes lifting and firming peptide serums pushed into the skin with specialized microcurrent. Cool compresses, Vitamin C hydration eye gel, Gentle pressure point massage for reduction of swelling and edema. Can be stand alone service, or added to a facial service.

Diamond Microdermabrasion Treatment

**Diamond Microdermabrasion Treatment - Facial Add-on Crystal-free diamond-tipped microdermabrasion, add on with a facial service. This is not a hydrafacial microdermabrasion

Skin Classic. How Does It Work?

Skin Classic does NOT burn-off imperfections. There is no smell, vapor, or smoke. Skinclassic employs a high-frequency electrical impulse which desiccates imperfections in the epidermal tissue, and it coagulates tiny blood vessels. It is highly effective and generally does not require a 2nd treatment unless the lesion is large/tough. Occasionally, some lesions cannot be completely eliminated in one visit and may require an additional treatment. Every attempt is made to completely eradicate the lesion completely, as we will not over-treat the area. A "Less is more" approach is best.

Skin Classic . What To Expect.

Skin Classic treated areas may be red, crusty, dark, or itchy post-treatment. You may use coverup/makeup is absolutely necessary, but wash gently with fingertips only - until crusting heals. Everyone has a DIFFERENT rate of resolution post-treatment. Some residual pinkness is normal for several weeks until the skin re-epithelializes. It is absolutely necessary to follow the recommended homecare protocol as directed, and always use sunscreen for at least 2 weeks to protect the treated areas from UV damage. Please note that several types of NEW skin imperfections such as keratoses, over-grown oil glands (sebaceous hyperplasia), and cherry angiomas can pop-up on your skin in a matter of a week or so. Every attempt is made to treat all imperfections at your visit, but if you have reactive skin which turns red quickly during treatment, it may be harder to locate and eradicate smaller lesions and a followup visit may be necessary.

Keratosis Pilaris Treatment

Keratosis Pilaris is a very common, benign skin disorder. which affects 50% of adolescents and 40% of adults. It causes numerous small, rough tan or red little bumps around hair follicles on the upper arms, thighs, buttocks, and cheeks, creating the appearance of goose flesh, goose bumps, or chicken skin. It's often seen in patients with other skin conditions and atopic dermatitis. Keratosis Pilaris is not curable and tends to run in families (genetic association), and generally requires ongoing maintenance therapy. Daily, at home treatment/maintenance is required to keep it at bay.
